Lenders Depot's commercial mortgage lending activities include direct placement of loans to a number of institutional and/or Wall Street-backed lending operations with which the Company has a correspondent relationship. In such situations, the Company often has the authority to directly underwrite such loans and commit for the funding on behalf of the Lender. Loans are sometimes closed under Lenders Depot documentation, then assigned to the institution or Wall Street-backed entity.
